Re: Whom to send the 10/- for asking for Income Tax Refund?

I am little confused here. While the members here have suggested to draw the IPO in name of "Accounts Officer, Income Tax dept", the PRO at IT office, Pune tells to draw the IPO in favour of "Zonal Accounts Officer, CBDT, Pune". She also tells that the IPO can be left blank as well. I inquired another fellow who's an IT agent, and he tells to draw a local cheque in name of "CIT-IV, Pune", who happens to be the CPIO also.
Does anybody know what exactly is the beneficiary name of RTI IPO/DD displayed at Erandwana, Pune office? Or let me know what exactly worked for those who got quick refund after an RTI application.

Your CPIO is the Assessing Officer [income tax officer] of your IT ward where you filed your return. You can scrutinize rubber stamp affixed on your acknowledgement copy.
