</TD></TR><TR><TD class=news vAlign=top colSpan=2>The previous ND Tiwari regime had given these gadgets to Ministers and OSDs. Though they are no longer in power, they have yet to return them. The gadgets were given to them to make their functioning high-tech. Some of the Ministers were given an additional laptop too.

But the House had witnessed furore and a resolution was passed to the effect that all MLAs could keep their laptops permanently. According to the Secretariat, the names of two OSDs of former Chief Minister have figured in the receiver's list.
