You want to seek information under RTI Act 2005 or just seek information in the ordinary way ?

My question is whether I can seek information from Brihan Mumbai Corporation in the ordinary way through email? What if I do not receive replies in spite of several reminders from my side?
I am tired of personally visiting the dispatch section of a department of Brihan Mumbai Corporation with my letters duly acknowledged by dispatch section with a request to reply me to my letters.
Since I am also in service and cannot take leave all the time for submitting letters with Brihan Mumbai Corporation, I wanted to know whether I can send my documents through email to the concerned department of Brihan Mumbai Corporation.
    Please help.
